The Home’s report for 2011 is now available:

• A number of case studies describe the significant steps forward being made in the Community Outreach programme.
• The poultry project is up and running with 1000 birds. It not only supplies the Home but is also being run as a fundraising project serving the community.
• Effective self help projects are emerging in different communities where MRCH outreach projects are running. Currently MRCH are concentrating their efforts in consolidating programming in four main regions in the country, namely Mashonaland, Masvingo, Midlands and Matebeleland.

The Home’s report for 2011 is now available:

• Children are being successfully brough back into the education system through the MRCH Community Based Orphan Care Programme
• The Uniting World of Australia and MRDF of the UK came on board to fund MRCH small self help projects for the benefit of the less privileged societies that MRCH operates in

The Home’s report for the first quarter of 2011 is now available:

• An article about ‘Ladies under the trees’. These volunteers from the Methodist Church work within their own communities feeding, supporting and playing with the children that need extra care
• An example of a day at Zengeza 4 Community Resource Centre

The Home’s report for 2008 is now available. A few of the key achievements are:

• The development of appropriate community care for children and help them to remain in the community and avoid unnecessary institutionalization
• Eleven children have been reintegrated with their families and continue to receive support from the Home
• Over 700 children were provided with school fees, medical support, clothes, food and school stationery in the Gweru, Marondera and Harare districts
